Modest
and sober by nature, Joydeep is a worshipper of Nature. He has also a
spiritual bent of mind. In his own modest manner, he is trying to establish
a relationship between Music and Nature through the harmony of the Sarod.
Like the great romantic poet, Wordsworth, he looks upon
Nature as something pulsating with life, which at the same time is a Divine
Preacher. He wants to become one with the serene and tranquil atmosphere of
Nature through the mellowing cadences of Music.
Keeping in mind, he has made
many innovations, of course without tainting the purity of Ragas &
Raginis.
