Joydeep exhibited superb control over the Ragdari and the mellifluous modulations were
finely adjusted. While satisfying the rudimentary urges of the Raga, he offered
interesting improvisations. The Taankari during the Gatkari in Jhaptal was always finished
with decorative Tehais, leading to fine compositions. A good sense of Laykari bore witness
to his hard Riaz and creative gift. |
